Bang & Olufsen to open six new stores across England

Luxury AV and audio brand Bang & Olufsen has announced plans to open six new stores across the north and south of England.

While four of the stores will be opened with partners, two of the London stores will be company owned.

With all of the new stores due to open before Christmas, the first openings will be in Leeds, St Albans and York followed by Battersea in London. The brand will also launch two new stores in central London’s Marylebone and Hanover Square.

The new flagship television, the BeoVision Avant, is set to drive sales for the company and will take pride of place at the stores. The stores will also showcase the brand’s range of wireless products.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

The new stores are part of Bang & Olufsen’s plans to expand both inside and outside of London. The store in Leeds will be the first in the UK to roll out the new retail concept introduced in Denmark last year, with Marylebone soon to follow.

Tue Mantoni, chief executive of Bang & Olufsen, said: “The UK market is extremely important to our growth strategy and opening these new stores shows the renewed confidence in the brand and the luxury market. Providing a quality and interactive customer experience is, and will continue to be, at the heart of Bang & Olufsen.

“While consumers can research our products online, feeling and testing them at a store will always be instrumental to Bang & Olufsen’s success. As we work very closely with customers at the installation level, as well as throughout their purchase journey and beyond, having a local presence is absolutely key to making sure we have a happy customer base.”
