Banbury Cross Retail Park announces trio of new lettings

Banbury Cross Retail Park in Oxfordshire has completed three new lettings.

Iceland has agreed a new 10 year lease on a 9,992 square foot store for its new ‘The Food Warehouse’ format while Countrywide Farmers has taken a 7,997 square foot space. In addition, Home Bargains has agreed a new 15 year lease for a unit spanning 11,700 square feet.

Meanwhile, footwear retailer Brantano has re-geared its lease for a further ten years.

The three retail lettings were completed by Kames Capital on behalf of Aegon UK Property Fund and advised by Savills and Cushman & Wakefield.

Savills director Dominic Rodbourne said: “This is an established and popular shopping destination which attracts significant footfall and we are very pleased to have secured these new retailers, which will complement the existing tenant mix well. Brantano has also demonstrated its commitment to the park, further underlining its continued trading success.”
