Arket launches first West Midlands store

H&M owned Arket has opened its first store in the West Midlands at Birmingham’s Bullring.

Spanning 13,000 square feet, the store is situated on Bullring’s upper level and stocks the brand’s full range of collections for men, women, children and the home.

Designed by an in-house team, the store also includes a café offering Nordic cuisine.

The opening follows the recent launch of the first HUGO store outside of London at the Bullring.

Iain Mitchell, commercial director at Bullring operator Hammerson, said: “It is a significant achievement for Bullring, as well as Birmingham, that Arket selected the centre for continued expansion across the UK. With the recent addition of HUGO and NYX and Morphe coming soon, Arket is a fantastic flagship addition to our leading aspirational fashion line-up. I am confident the unique offer will be extremely popular with our shoppers.”

Having recently celebrated its 15th birthday, Bullring now has a footfall of over 36 million a year.
