Achica appoints Steve Robinson as chief executive
Achica, the members-only luxury lifestyle store, has promoted chief operating officer Steve Robinson to the position of chief executive.
Having joined Achica in July 2013, Robinson succeeds the company’s co-founder William Cooper who will now become Achica chairman. In his new role, Robinson will lead Achica as it looks to expand overseas.
Commenting on his appointment Robinson said: “Having been trading for four years Achica is still a relatively new business and it is growing rapidly in size, product offer and operations. The coming years will be critical in growing Achica as the business looks to expand domestically and internationally.”
Prior to Achica, Robinson was customer director at B&Q, chief executive of Tesco Direct and chief executive of M and M Direct.
Cooper said: “I am confident that with his significant and relevant retail experience he will continue to build on the early success of Achica and enable us to achieve our ambitious goals.”
