Abercrombie & Fitch hires new chief financial officer
Abercrombie & Fitch has appointed Joanne Crevoiserat as its new chief financial officer.
Due to take up her new position in May, Crevoiserat has worked with US department store Kohl’s for the last seven years in a number of senior management roles including executive vice president of finance.
Prior to Kohl’s, she held senior finanancial positions within Wal-Mart and May Department Stores, including serving as chief financial officer of the Filene’s, Foley’s, and Famous-Barr brands.
During an initial transitional period at Abercrombie & Fitch, Crevoiserat will assume the merchandise planning and inventory management responsibilities currently held by Leslee Herro who is due retire from the company in September 2014.
Never Miss a Retail Update!After the transitional period, Crevoiserat will retain financial oversight of merchandise planning as part of her ongoing chief financial officer responsibilities. Herro’s category planning responsibilities will then be transferred to new brand leadership teams.
Crevoiserat will report to Abercrombie & Fitch’s chief operating officer Jonathan Ramsden.
