Wingstop UK brings flavour takeover to Leeds with fourth location opening
Wingstop UK has landed in Leeds once again, opening its fourth site in the city today at Cardigan Fields Leisure Park and treating the first 100 guests through the doors to free chicken wings.
Marking a major milestone in the brand’s continued UK expansion, the new 4,000 sq. ft site boasts over 100 covers and brings Wingstop’s iconic menu of wings, tenders, burgers, and sides to the popular leisure destination just outside the city centre. Guests will also be the first to try Wingstop UK’s brand-new Hot Honey Glaze flavour, which officially launches today.
This latest opening follows the success of Wingstop’s White Rose Shopping Centre, Boar Lane, and delivery kitchen locations in Leeds – underlining the city’s appetite for the bold flavour and signature style the brand is known for.
Chris Sherriff, CEO at Wingstop UK, said: “We’ve seen the buzz around Wingstop UK in Leeds. To meet the growing demand, we’re delighted to open our fourth location, cementing our status as the number one flavour destination in the city. With Hot Honey Glaze launching today, it couldn’t be a better time to visit your local Wingstop and try a new go-to flavour. As we continue to grow and expand, a big thanks goes out to all our hard-working teams and loyal fans – we’re very excited for what’s coming next.”
Since launching in the UK in 2018, Wingstop UK has grown to 62 sites, employing over 2,700 people across the country. The Cardigan Fields restaurant is one of more than 20 new locations set to open by the end of 2025, as part of the company’s record-breaking expansion plans announced earlier this year.
The brand’s rise in popularity is fuelled by its unique flavour offering and strong connection to youth culture, including music, fashion, and sport – brought to life through high-impact partnerships and authentic brand activations.
As Wingstop UK continues its rapid growth, Leeds once again finds itself at the heart of the flavour revolution.
