Waitrose Cookery School launches classes to support Healthy Eating Week
As an official supporter of this week’s ‘Healthy Eating Week’, Waitrose has teamed up with UK nutrition charity the British Nutrition Foundation to host a free special cooking session.
The event will be hosted by Waitrose health manager Dr Emma Williams alongside Waitrose Cookery School chef tutor Emily Merricks and British Nutrition Foundation nutrition scientist Alex White.
Lasting an hour, the session will aim to help attendees understand what makes a healthy meal and will include a cook-along where they are shown how to make two different dishes. There will also be the opportunity to ask the trio questions.
Williams said: “We are excited to be supporting Healthy Eating Week with this fantastic, free, cookery class. Our aim is to bring some healthy cooking inspiration to our guests and offer some advice and tips on how to make healthy swaps so that everyone can live that little bit healthier.”
Free to attend, the Waitrose Cookery School Healthy Eating Week course will run on 17 June from 5pm to 6pm.
