Too Good To Go and CEVA Logistics hit 100,000 parcel milestone
CEVA Logistics and Too Good To Go have reached a 100,000 Parcel milestone in just four months, helping FMCG brands reduce surplus food waste.
To mark the occasion, Rosie Wrighting, MP for Kettering, visited CEVA Logistics’ Midlands facility, where Parcels are packed and distributed. She praised the initiative, saying:
“It is brilliant to see Too Good To Go and CEVA Logistics working together to provide a sustainable solution for surplus food, create jobs for local people, and distribute an impressive 100,000 Parcels in such a short time. Tackling food surplus is crucial—nobody wants to see good food go to waste.”
Brands like Tony’s Chocolonely and Heinz contribute surplus stock to CEVA’s facility, where it is packed and shipped via the Too Good To Go app at a reduced price.
A Tony’s Chocolonely spokesperson said: “Partnering with Too Good To Go has given us a powerful, sustainable way to manage our surplus while staying connected with our conscious consumer base.”
A Heinz spokesperson added: “Reaching 100,000 Parcels is a testament to the impact of sustainable solutions in managing surplus food and reducing waste.”
Through Too Good To Go Parcels, brands turn surplus into an opportunity, cutting waste while recouping profits. The Too Good To Go app now connects over 17 million UK users, supporting a circular economy.
Steve Barry, Senior General Manager at CEVA Logistics, highlighted the power of collaboration: “Reaching 100,000 Parcels shipped with Too Good To Go proves the power of collaboration in tackling food waste. MP Wrighting’s visit highlights the importance of this milestone and recognizes the hard work of our team in making a positive impact.”
With over 3.2 million Parcels saved globally, the initiative has prevented 51.9 million kg of CO₂ emissions and conserved 15 billion litres of water – proving that surplus food can be a win for brands, consumers, and the planet.
