Tipton scores with new SPAR store
Wolves FC legend, Steve Bull MBE, officially opened the new £1.1m SPAR store in Tipton recently.
Bull, the greatest goal scorer in the history of the club, was on hand to greet customers at the new SPAR, which boasts not only convenience store essentials but also a Greggs food-to-go outlet.
The new 2,000sqft Blakemore Retail SPAR store is conveniently located on the site of the former Jolly Collier pub, in a popular residential area with car parking for twenty vehicles.
With green initiatives so important to consumers, the new store incorporates sensory lighting, LED lights and doors on chillers. For greater convenience at busier times, there are also two self-checkouts in the store.
The fresh and modern store provides shoppers with a great range of grocery, snacking, beers, wines and spirits, toiletries, baby, pet food, and household items. Products include big brand names as well as the popular, award-winning SPAR own brand. Value is a key proposition in-store with lots of deals for shoppers.

The store employs 36 local colleagues and is located at 29 Leabrook Road, Tipton, DY4 ODX.
