Tim Hortons to debut in Wales
Canadian coffee shop chain Tim Hortons is to launch its first outlet in Wales with the opening of a new shop in Cardiff’s Queen Street.
Due to launch on 14 November, the new store is part of a nationwide rollout.
The company said the launch day will see the first 100 people in the queue being offered a free breakfast combo once the doors open and the first person in the queue will be given a year’s supply of free Tim Hortons original blend brewed coffee.
The first Tim Hortons restaurant in the UK opened on Argyle Street in Glasgow at the start of June.
Kevin Hydes, chief finance and commercial officer of the Tim Hortons UK franchise, said: “We’re thrilled to announce we’re opening in Queen Street, Cardiff – it’s a fantastic area and shares similar values with Tim Hortons – a strong sense of community and friendly culture. The excitement we’ve seen for Tim Hortons has beaten all of our expectations.”
