Tesco surprises customers with free ‘Christmas Night In’ treats
Tesco is looking to surprise customers this Christmas with a free gift box full of festive treats.
The supermarket is giving away ‘Christmas Night In’ gift boxes to 60,000 shoppers as part of its Surprise and Delight initiative until 19 December. The box includes a selection of festive food and drink including a Thornton’s chocolate collection and a Tesco Christmas pudding.
Selected customers across the UK are receiving the gift box with their regular online grocery shop.
The Surprise and Delight initiative offers online customers free products as a thank you at different times throughout the year. Previous gifts have included children’s activity packs during the school holidays and chocolates around Valentine’s Day. Tesco said one million customers have received a surprise and delight treat so far this year.
