Signature Brew X Tate Modern launch new collaboration beer ‘Ready Made’

Signature Brew, the award-winning London brewery known for its music-inspired collaborations, has launched a new limited-edition beer in partnership with Tate Modern.

This collaboration demonstrates how retail brands can use innovative partnerships, exclusivity, and cultural relevance to drive customer engagement, create buzz, and foster loyalty. This partnership taps into the growing demand for experiential products that tell a story. It bridges the worlds of craft beer and contemporary art, offering something unique for both Tate visitors and Signature Brew fans. By combining cultural relevance with accessible luxury, it captures the spirit of modern retail.

Titled Ready Made, the hazy pale ale celebrates the Mike Kelley: Ghost and Spirit exhibition, running at Tate Modern until 9th March 2025.

The 3.4% ABV beer blends a light, sessionable profile with bold citrus flavours, drawing inspiration from Kelley’s use of found objects and his exploration of identity, memory, and popular culture. Designed to pair perfectly with the exhibition, the beer features artwork by Signature Brew’s in-house designer Steve Beech, inspired by Kelley’s creations.

Ready Made is available for pre-order now, with online sales starting 4th November and running until 31st March 2025. Six 440ml cans retail at £18.

Sam McGregor, Co-Founder of Signature Brew, shared, “Kelley’s unique work and influence on musicians inspired us to craft this beer as an homage. Once again, Steve Beech has delivered an amazing can design that captures Kelley’s playful style.”

This latest release follows the success of Signature Brew’s previous collaboration with Tate Modern, Riot Grrrl, launched in 2023 to celebrate the Women In Revolt exhibition.

Andrew Downs, Commercial Director of Tate Eats, commented, “Ready Made is crisp, refreshing, and effortlessly drinkable—a perfect pairing for Kelley’s exhibition or a casual pint with friends.”

From their London base, Signature Brew continues to innovate the beer scene, producing exclusive collaborations with artists and musicians, including Hot Chip, IDLES, and The Libertines. With sustainability and community at its core, the brewery remains a leader in both creativity and craft beer quality.

Signature Brew started in 2011 and have since collaborated with artists including the likes of Hot Chip, alt-J, Mastodon, IDLES, The Darkness, Sports Team, Enter Shikari, Big Joanie, Mogwai, Ed Gamble and Hospital Records.
