Sainsbury’s reveals upgraded Stoke-on-Trent store
Sainsbury’s has unveiled its newly upgraded Stoke-on-Trent store following a six-month refurbishment programme.
The supermarket said it has invested in bringing customers a bright new in-store shopping experience as well as making the store more energy efficient.
The shop now features a transformed fresh food market and produce hall that has been relocated to make it front and centre of the store. There is also a new hot food counter and beauty and cosmetics department, improved checkouts, new signage and fixtures, and an extended Tu Clothing department.
The enhanced offering also includes a new Starbucks café as part of a wider expansion plan between Sainsbury’s and Starbucks across the UK. This means that there are now over forty Starbucks cafés open inside Sainsbury’s supermarkets.
Sainsbury’s property director Patrick Dunne said: “We’re constantly investing in our store estate to help ensure we provide the best offer we can to the communities we serve, supporting our commitment to helping everyone eat better. I hope our customers in Stoke enjoy their new look store and once again I’d like to thank them for bearing with us while we completed this extensive project.”
