Sainsbury’s launches new Low Everyday Prices offering

Sainsbury’s is launching a new value offering called Low Everyday Prices on selected big brand products.

The pricing is being applied to over 1,000 popular items ranging from PG Tips Tea Bags and Quaker Rolled Porridge Oats to Sensodyne Daily Care Gentle Whitening Sensitive Toothpaste and Surf Tropical Lily Washing Powder.

Low Everyday Prices has replaced the supermarket’s Price Lock offering and will complement its Aldi Price Match campaign that is now available on 550 products.

Sainsbury’s also offers reduced prices on 6,000 items for members of its Nectar card loyalty programme.

Simon Roberts, chief executive of Sainsbury’s, said: “As the weather gets warmer and the evenings lighter, we’re well prepared to support our customers with great value as they get ready to socialise more.

“One of the ways we’re doing this is through the launch of Low Everyday Prices, a simpler way of showcasing our value which allows us more flexibility to respond more quickly to the market.”
