Sainsbury’s hires Christine Kasoulis to lead clothing and home offering
4 May, 2022 | by Angela Beevers
Sainsbury’s has appointed Christine Kasoulis to head up its clothing, home and furniture divisions.
Kasoulis previously worked with the John Lewis department store, but left last year and has since been a self employed business consultant. Her most recent role at John Lewis was category director for fashion and beauty and prior to that she was buying director for home.
In her new role, she will report to Paula Nickolds, Sainsbury’s general merchandise and clothing commercial director, who has also previously worked with John Lewis.
Last week, Sainsbury’s reported a 104% increase in annual underlying pre-tax profit, but warned that the cost of living crisis will impact the outcome of its current financial year.
