Pret A Manger launches coffee subscription gift card

Pret A Manger has launched its Pret Coffee Subscription as a digital gift card for the first time.

The move will enable Pret fans to gift their friends and family with up to 150 drinks per month, for £20 a month.

The gift card subscriptions can be purchased from one month to a year in monthly increments. The gift is then delivered as a personalised QR code on the date of the customer’s choosing to their recipient’s email address.

Gift recipients can enjoy up to five Barista-made drinks a day, which includes all of Pret’s 100% organic coffees and teas as well as frappes, hot chocolates, lattes, smoothies, seasonal specials and more. Subscription holders also qualify for exclusive deals and discounts and an automatic sign up to the trial of Pret’s new ‘Pert Perks’ loyalty programme.

Briony Raven, UK food and coffee director at Pret, said: “We know that our Pret Coffee Subscription is the gift that keeps on giving so we wanted to make it available as a gift itself this year, for anyone looking to gift the coffee lovers in their life nearly endless amounts of coffee.

“Our customers love The Pret Coffee Subscription and now our digital and tech team have worked hard over the past year to make Christmas extra special so subscribers and Pret fans alike can share the love with their family, friends or workmates with the ultimate coffee gift.”

In other Pret news, the retailer is now selling bake-at-home frozen croissants, granolas, ketchups and coffee in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Amazon and other leading retailers.
