Pret a Manger extends delivery service to Uber Eats and Just Eat
The Pret a Manger sandwich shop chain has extended its home delivery service to Uber Eats and Just Eat.
The move follows the re-opening of ten Pret stores earlier this month when the company teamed up with Deliveroo. The shops have re-opened for takeaway and delivery only and are situated near to hospitals.
Items available for order include some of Pret’s most popular sandwiches, salads and baguettes, as well as hot and cold drinks, baked goods, fruit and snacks. Customers are also able to order a selection of essential items such as milk, butter and tea as well as a ‘Produce Box’ comprising fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Orders can be made from as early as 8am to 2pm, with no minimum spend and a delivery charge of £3.
Toussaint Wattinne, general manager of Uber Eats in the UK, said: “I am delighted to be partnering with Pret, one of the nation’s favourite chains as they start re-opening their stores.”
Andrew Kenny, Just Eat UK managing director of Just Eat, added: “We are delighted to be working with Pret to deliver their incredibly popular dishes. Pret is a workday staple and being able to enjoy your go-to lunch direct to your door is something many will be excited about, especially after working from home for the last few weeks.”
The reopened Pret stores are situated in London’s Fulham Road, South Kensington, St George’s University, St John’s Wood, Tooting Broadway, King’s Road, City Road, Great Portland Street, Vauxhall, St George’s Wharf and Warren Street.
