PerfectTed teams up with ‘Hardest Geezer’ Russ Cook to launch charity-driven energy drink
PerfectTed has announced a collaboration with extreme athlete and social media personality Russ Cook, known as the Hardest Geezer.
Together, they have launched a new Strawberry Daiquiri-flavored energy drink.
The limited-edition beverage, which combines the refreshing taste of strawberry and lime with the energising properties of matcha, aims to support charitable causes, with all proceeds going to The Running Charity and Sandblast.
Known for being the UK’s first 100% natural, matcha-powered energy drink, PerfectTed prides itself on offering a product free from additives, preservatives, and added sugar. The new drink is exclusively available online through the PerfectTed website and features a blend of natural ingredients including water, NFC strawberry juice, NFC lime, green tea extract, matcha, and various natural flavors.
The collaboration emerged from Russ Cook’s appreciation for PerfectTed’s products during his extensive running adventures, which most recently included a challenging trek across Africa.
“We loved following Russ on his African adventure and are proud to have not only fuelled his running journey, but his efforts in raising money for charity too. This limited-edition drop combines Russ’ love for Strawberry Daiquiris with PerfectTed healthy energy drinks (that he drank all the way across Africa) with all profits from the sale of this collaboration going to his Givestar charity campaign.”
Russ Cook shared his enthusiasm for the new product: “It’s no secret I was craving a particular cocktail on returning from Africa and now, thanks to Perfect Ted, I’ll never have to crave one again. Safe to say, the Hardest Energy Strawberry Daiquiri flavour will be fuelling my runs and has pinched the top spot as my new favorite PerfectTed flavour!”
Perfect Ted, co-founded by Teddie Levenfiche and his business partner Marissa Poster, was initially inspired by Poster’s switch from coffee to matcha to manage her ADHD and anxiety symptoms more effectively. The brand has quickly expanded, now available in over 1,200 Tesco stores, among other retailers, and recently secured significant investment following a successful pitch on the television show Dragon’s Den.
This new venture not only highlights PerfectTed’s commitment to providing a healthier alternative to traditional energy drinks but also demonstrates the power of partnership in supporting community and charitable endeavors.
