Nisa further strengthens sales and retail team with head of key accounts appointment
Nisa has bolstered its sales and retail team with the appointment of Andrew Rutter as head of key accounts.
With over 25 years of experience in the independent retail and wholesale sector, Rutter has worked with Nisa since 2012, initially as Nisa-Today’s head of retail development.
Most recently, he has been working as regional manager for the south where he led a team of retail development managers, overseeing support for more than 700 independent Nisa stores. Earlier in his career, he worked with AF Blakemore where he held a variety of roles.
In his new position, Rutter will oversee the strategic management of key accounts within Nisa’s portfolio with the aim of fostering strong relationships with key partners, enhancing service delivery, and defining a five-year sales strategy to drive profitable growth and deepen retailer loyalty. This will involve close collaboration with the wholesale and B2B divisions.
Katie Secretan, Nisa’s director of sales and retail, said: “Andrew’s extensive experience, deep understanding of the independent retail sector, and passion for delivering excellence make him the ideal candidate for this critical role.
“His leadership will be instrumental in strengthening relationships with our key accounts, driving forward our sales strategy, and ensuring that our partners continue to thrive in an ever-challenging market.”
Earlier this year, the sales and retail leadership team welcomed Taranjit Singh Dhillon to the role of head of retail and Ian King as head of business development. In addition, Joy McAleese was promoted to the position of head of wholesale.
