Naked Wines confirms appointment of Rodrigo Maza as CEO
Naked Wines has confirmed that Rodrigo Maza has now started in his role of chief executive following his appointment as chief executive designate in February.
The news means that Rowan Gormley will now return to his previous role as non-executive chairman.
Maza joined the business in September as UK managing director after ten years with AB InBev and has been working with Gormley and the Majestic executive team to define the company’s turnaround strategy.
The group has also announced that Paul Calandrella has been appointed as general manager of Naked Wines USA. Due to take up his role from mid-April, he has 20 years of experience in consumer-focused roles in both brand and retail, including at Amazon, REI and a venture-backed recommerce startup.
