Morrisons to host vaccine centres in its car parks
6 January, 2021 | by Angela Beevers
Morrisons has offered some of its car parks for use in helping to roll out Covid-19 vaccines.
From next Monday, three supermarkets will be hosting drive-thru centres in their car parks and the company is making further stores available to the Government.
David Potts, chief executive of Morrisons, said: “We’ll have three stores operating from Monday 11 January and we have offered another 47 subject to requirements and availability of the vaccine”
Potts said the stores were at the disposal of the country.
Yesterday Morrisons reported that its group like-for-likes sales rose by 9.3% in the three weeks to 3 January.
