Morrisons to give customers loyalty points on every product purchased

Morrisons has begun offering loyalty card holders five points on every product they purchase in its supermarkets and convenience stores, as well as online and at Morrisons on Amazon.

By scanning their More Card or app, customers could previously only bank points on selected products.

Once they have amassed  5,000 points, shoppers receive a Morrisons Fiver which can be redeemed on a future shop, in store or online. The new offering means that More Card holders are now guaranteed to earn points on every shop and to will also gain Fivers faster.

The card holders can also earn additional promotional points on selected products, including the opportunity to get 50 points when they buy any Morrisons The Best product throughout December.

The introduction of five More Card points on every product follows a recent successful trial in Wales.

Alex Rogerson, group marketing director at Morrisons, said: ”We wanted to give customers even more bang for their buck when they shop with Morrisons, and now they’ll earn More Points on everything they buy.

“We remain committed to driving value for our customers however they shop with us, making it easier than ever to bag a Morrisons Fiver and save big while you shop.”

Morrisons More Card benefits can be accessed in the around 1,000 Morrisons Daily convenience stores which are owned by Morrisons, as well as in 500 Morrisons supermarkets, Morrisons.com and Morrisons on Amazon.
