Morrisons drops British carrots, swede and parsnips price to 8p

Morrisons has launched Easter price cuts on seasonal vegetables with British carrots, parsnips and swedes costing just 8p pre kilogram.

The offer is available to Morrisons More Card holders until 20 April, although all customers can get Morrisons ‘The Best’ potatoes (2kg) for less than half price at £1.10.

The supermarket said it is putting value at the centre of this weekend’s Easter celebration by ensuring that seasonal staples are affordable for all with a price tag that “can’t be beaten”.

Gareth Lloyd, head of marketing events at Morrisons, said: “Easter is a time for families to come together and enjoy great food. We’re proud to offer our customers quality, fresh British produce at prices that help make their celebrations affordable.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“With these huge savings, we’re making it easier for everyone to enjoy a traditional Easter meal without compromising on quality.

“These vegetable price cuts are part of Morrisons ongoing commitment to deliver quality and value, particularly during key seasonable moments when food plays an even bigger role within our customers’ households.”
