Lidl launches Lidl Plus loyalty app

Lidl has launched a new smartphone-based rewards app called Lidl Plus.

Available for UK customers to download and use in store, the app provides shoppers with exclusive rewards and discounts when they scan their digital card at the till.

Benefits will include scratch card prizes where users can win anything from 25p to £20 off their weekly shop, and a range of single use discount coupons.

In addition, Lidl will be launching a ‘Coupon Plus’ feature where customers will get  bonus money-off coupons to use when they reach a certain target.

The app will also include special offers on products and services such as cinema tickets and Sky TV and broadband.

Shoppers will be able to use the app to store all their digital receipts  as well as to browse weekly leaflets and seasonal magazines.

Christian Härtnagel, chief executive at Lidl GB, said: “Our customers know that we offer the best quality products at market leading prices. We’ve designed Lidl Plus so we can provide an even better, tailored, shopping experience for our customers, as well as to thank them for their loyalty.”
