Läderach expands UK presence with new High Street Kensington store
Läderach, the Swiss premium chocolatier, is continuing its UK expansion with the opening of a new store in Kensington.
Situated at 135 High Street, the new site follows a string of recent UK launches, including a flagship on Regent Street, a concession in Harrods’ Chocolate Hall, and stores in Westfield London, Covent Garden and King’s Road.
The brand is currently working to double its UK footprint within the next year.
Stephan Stegen, UK general manager of Läderach, said: “We are thrilled to open in one of London’s most iconic shopping areas, High Street Kensington. This new store reflects our confidence in the UK market and our customers’ growing appreciation for premium Swiss chocolate.
“With plans to double our presence in the UK over the next 12 months, we are excited to bring our handcrafted chocolates to even more locations across the country, including an upcoming location outside of the capital.”
Operating since 1962, Läderach is the largest chocolate retailer in Switzerland and has 200 stores across 20 countries worldwide.
