Kids eat for free at Tesco cafes with any purchase this summer

Tesco is offering free children’s meals to Clubcard holders with any item purchased in 311 of its cafés until 26 August.

The offer means that parents can spend as little as 60p on a piece of fresh fruit to claim one free kids’ meal worth up to £3.25.

Alessandra Bellini, chief customer officer at Tesco, said: “Kids Eat Free is just one of the ways we’re helping our customers to spend less at Tesco. We know that costs can add up over the school holidays, so offering free meals to children with any item purchased at our cafés for an adult, is one of the ways we are supporting parents during this time.”

Through its partnership with Fareshare and the Trussell Trust, Tesco also provides donated long-life food and surplus food to charities and community groups, including The Trussell Trust foodbanks. In addition, its customers can use the food sharing app, OLIO, to find free food that has been donated by the supermarket.
