KFC UK & Ireland appoints marketing director
KFC UK & Ireland has promoted Kate Wall to the role of marketing director.
Due to move from her current position of strategy and innovation director on 1 December, she has worked with the business since 2019.
In her new role, she will be adding to KFC’s already strong female leadership team by working under the newly appointed chief marketing officer, Monica Pool, who returned to the brand this autumn.
Wall will be responsible for all consumer-facing elements of the KFC Brand, its strategic direction and distinctive tone of voice to drive sales, transactions and growth. This will include working with a cross-functional team across brand, media, loyalty, social, consumer PR, CRM and marketing operations for KFC’s 1,000+ outlets and 30,000+ team members.
Prior to joining KFC, Wall spent eight years working with Mondelēz International where she oversaw Cadbury’s product innovation which put Oreo and Daim into bars. She also played a lead role in repositioning Cadbury Dairy Milk.
Pool said: “Kate’s promotion to marketing director is a testament to her authentic leadership and ability to motivate teams through her infectious energy and incredible commercial acumen. We’re excited for this next chapter for our marketing team with Kate pushing boundaries, and unleashing unparalleled experiences that will not just connect but will captivate our customers like never before.”
