Iceland launches biggest-ever festive recruitment drive

Iceland has launched its biggest ever Christmas recruitment drive as it looks to fill 1,750 roles.

The retailer said the new recruits will help to fulfil the additional 100,000 delivery slots being made available to customers over the festive season.

Iceland is seeking to recruit 750 home delivery drivers and over 1,000 retail assistants. The positions are for a fixed term contract for 16 weeks and include part-time and full-time roles.

Helen Tindle, HR director at Iceland Foods, said: “We’re building opportunities for people, and offering a chance for talented, energetic individuals to become part of our Iceland family and make a meaningful impact for our customers at one of the fastest-growing retailers in the UK.

“We support our colleagues as much as our customers, offering training, benefits, and growth opportunities. At Iceland, we’re not just opening the doors to our customers, we’re opening doors to a brighter future for our team members.”
