Holland & Barrett trials new barista-made ‘H&Bean’ drinks in central London store
Wellness retailer Holland & Barrett is trialling a new range of barista-made beverages containing the latest health and wellness trending ingredients.
The H&Bean takeaway coffee and teas are being offered at the retailer’s store in London’s Victoria Street.
Holland & Barrett said the coffees are made using H&B’s Bespoke House Coffee Blend which is organic and sourced from Peru, Guatemala and Ethiopia. Each drink includes only natural and clean ingredients, including steamed plant-based milks, and no sugar or artificial additives. Customers also have the option to add a natural sweetener or Manuka honey, as well as Lions Mane, Tremella or Espresso to any drink.
Prices start from £3 in the 17-strong range which includes hot and iced drink such as Calm Latte – Relax, a combination of matcha, coconut milk, ashwagandha and vitamin B3, and a Digest Tea with ACV that mixes H&B Apple Cider Vinegar with a digestive support tea bag.
Rachel Chatterton, head of food and beverage development at Holland & Barrett, said: “Our team of experts have been hard at work to bring to market a unique range of drinks with benefits that’s backed by science and nutrition.
“With the healthier coffee market growing, we’re excited to bring this new offering to the market as an on the go drinks option for customers.
“This also offers a great entry point for our customers to trial products and experience their benefits, with all ingredients used in the new range available to be purchased for use at home.”
The move follows Holland & Barrett’s most significant food transformation in a decade and the launch of its ‘Food That Loves You Back campaign that presents customers with foods tailored to specific wellness needs or specialised diets.
