Hellofresh hires new chief executive for the UK
Food subscription company HelloFresh UK has appointed Claire Davenport as its new chief executive following Ian Marsh’s decision to step down from the role due to personal reasons.
Davenport has joined the business from VoucherCodes.co.uk where she was general manager. Her previous roles also include chief commercial officer at online games company Bigpoint, chief of staff at Skype and executive vice president of strategy at broadcasting and production company RTL.
Dominik Richter, chief executive of HelloFresh Group, said: “We’re thrilled to have Claire on board. With her experience across a broad range of disruptor and tech brands, she is the right person to lead HelloFresh to the next stage of growth in the UK.”
Currently operating in the US, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Austria, Switzerland and Canada, HelloFresh delivered 30.7 million meals in the three months to 31 March.
