Gourmet Burger Kitchen chooses Meadowhall for one of its largest restaurants
Gourmet Burger Kitchen has opened one of its largest sites at the newly refurbished Meadowhall shopping centre.
Situated on the upper level of the Oasis Dining Quarter alongside brands such as Giraffe, TGI Fridays and Carluccio’s, the 2,500 square foot space will cater for 100 covers and create 30 jobs.
The interior features steel and leather booths with glass tops to give the restaurant an industrial feel that resonates with Sheffield’s industrial past.
Alice Keown, F&B asset manager at Meadowhall’s joint owner British Land, said: “Around 64% of our shoppers choose to have something to eat or drink when they visit and so maintaining an exciting and high quality leisure offer is of key importance. The launch of GBK coincides with both the completion of the £60 million refurbishment works and the busy Christmas period; it’s a very exciting time to join one the of UK’s premier shopping destinations.”
