German Doner Kebab hires chief marketing officer
German Doner Kebab has appointed Thorsk Westphal as chief marketing officer to support its growth plans.
The news comes as the company looks to achieve its aim of opening 106 new GDK restaurants across the world during 2022.
Westphal has 20 years’ experience in senior marketing roles with companies such as Yum! Restaurants, Reckitt Benckiser and L’Oréal.
At Yum! he played a key role in driving the growth of KFC in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark and was credited with one of the strongest-ever new product launches in KFC Germany’s history.
GDK now has over 130 restaurants worldwide.
