Covent Garden to welcome Avobar

London’s Covent Garden is to see the opening of the capital’s first permanent avocado bar.

Due to launch later this year, Avobar will join the existing line-up of food brands on Henrietta Street that includes Ollie Dabbous’ Henrietta, Frenchie, The Oystermen, Sticks & Sushi and Flat Iron.

The boutique restaurant will serve a menu of avocado based dishes all day for both dining in and taking away. The menu will aim to demonstrate the avocado’s taste and health benefits while giving customers the option of having ‘avo your way’, from breakfast to dinner.

Dishes will range from avocado and spicy tuna on crispy rice to avo tuna tartar and eggplant fries with avocado dip.

Michelle McGrath, director of Capco Covent Garden, said: “We are delighted to welcome another UK first to Covent Garden. Avobar fits perfectly with our strategy to introduce high quality and differentiated concepts which enhance the curated mix and customer experience at Covent Garden.”
