Co-op partnership with Amazon rolls out to Nottingham

The Co-op has announced that customers in Nottingham and its surrounding areas are now able to do their full Co-op grocery shop on Amazon.co.uk and access same-day delivery included with Prime.

The move follows the launch of Co-op on Amazon in Glasgow in September, followed by Bournemouth in October. The service will continue to be expanded to more Prime members across the UK in the next few months.

Chris Conway, Co-op’s head of ecommerce, said: “With convenience at the core of our approach we are committed to finding new ways to expand access to our products and services, and we are delighted to be able to share our products on Amazon.co.uk. Co-op on Amazon will offer shoppers a shopping experience, with ease, speed and, choice of great value products, conveniently.”

Prime customers in Nottingham will be able to choose from thousands of groceries including Co-op own-brand products on Amazon.co.uk, with all items sourced from a local Co-op store.

Olivier Girard, bead of Amazon UK grocery marketplace, said: “Our partnership with Co-op is another way for us to provide our Amazon Prime customers with more choice, value, and convenience to shop for their everyday groceries. The launch of Co-op on Amazon.co.uk means Prime members in Nottingham will be able to use Co-op on Amazon as part of the benefits, at no extra cost, wherever it is available.
