Co-op partnership with Amazon extended to Bristol

The Co-op has rolled out its partnership with Amazon  to Bristol.

The move means that Prime members in the city can now shop from the ‘Co-op on Amazon’ store with same-day delivery.

The service will also include the surrounding areas of Avonmouth, Chipping Sodbury, and Almondsbury.

Prime customers will be able to choose from thousands of groceries including Co-op own-brand products, its Fairtrade selection, and a a range of national brands, with all their shopping picked fresh from a local Co-op store.

Chris Conway, Co-op’s head of ecommerce, said: “With convenience at the core of our approach we are committed to finding new ways to expand access to our products and services and offer a convenient choice of Co-op quality and value to serve the local community.”

Co-op on Amazon is also available in Glasgow, Bournemouth, and Nottingham, and will continue to be expanded to more Prime members across the UK in the coming months.

Olivier Girard, head of Amazon UK Grocery Marketplace, said: “Our partnership with Co-op is another way for us to provide our Amazon Prime customers with more choice, value, and convenience to shop for their everyday groceries. Prime provides access to the best of Amazon, and we are looking forward to being able to expand the offering to more of the UK throughout the course of the year”.
