Central England Co-op teams up with Just Eat

Central England Co-op has teamed up with Just Eat as part of plans to widen customer options for grocery delivery.

The partnership has kicked off in 10 of the retailer’s food stores to enable customers to have their groceries delivered from their local Central England Co-op.

Shoppers choose items using the Just East app which are then picked and packed by staff at their nearby store before being delivered via Just Eat’s network of delivery drivers. The ten stores taking part in the scheme are in Leicester, Loughborough, Burbage, Skegby, Peterborough, Corby, Kingstone, Bilton and West Bromwich.

Customers ordering via Just Eat will have access to over 1,500 products including groceries, drinks and snacks.

Claire Koziol, head of stores at Central England Co-op, said: “We are committed to making it as easy as possible for our customers to shop with us and this partnership gives us the opportunity to not only provide another option for our communities but also work with a recognised and respected brand in home delivery.”
