Asda trials hearing services in supermarkets

Asda is to trial an in-store hearing service in its supermarkets.

The company will be providing hearing services in three of its stores through a partnership with Amplifon. These will include Asda shops in Altrincham, Harrogate and Long Eaton.

Amplifon will be providing free hearing tests and free hearing aid trials and will also offer a variety of bespoke hearing aid options.

Maq Din, Asda healthcare partnerships manager, said: “There are 6.7 million people in the UK who could benefit from a hearing aid, so we are delighted to work with an established company such as Amplifon to offer this convenient service in some of our opticians.”

Operating for over 70 years, Amplifon has 136 hearing centres in the UK.
