Asda rolls out café food delivery service with Just Eat
Supermarket Asda has extended its partnership with Just Eat to include dishes from its cafés.
Meals that can be delivered straight to customers’ doors range from breakfast sandwiches and paninis to pizzas and sweet treats. Customers can also take advantage of a range of meal deals and bundle offers that are available.
The menu can be accessed from 129 locations across the UK.
Asda said the roll-out follows a successful trial in 42 stores where thousands of customers placed orders each week, with pizzas being the most popular items.
The move forms part of Asda’s strategy to grow its quick commerce operations.
An Asda spokesperson said: “We welcome over 150,000 customers into our physical Asda Café’s each week and are really excited to be able to offer our customers the chance to have their favourite dishes delivered to their doors through this new partnership with Just Eat.
“This expansion with Just Eat helps to bolster our strategy to bring Asda value and quality to more communities across the UK by giving customers the ability to purchase their favourite Asda products whenever and however they like.”
