Asda appoints David Lepley as chief supply chain officer
Asda has appointed David Lepley as chief supply chain officer with responsibility for its food and general merchandise supply operations.
Lepley previously worked with Asda for over 11 years from 2005 where his most recent role was VP online grocery operations.
In 2016, he moved to Morrisons and since then has worked in various roles at the supermarket, including as executive group operations director.

Lepley’s appointment forms part of a raft of recent leadership changes at Asda, including Liz Evans being confirmed as chief commercial officer, non-food & retail, on a permanent basis. She will also continue to lead the supermarket’s George brand.
Meanwhile, Ade McKeon has been appointed as vice president, ambient.
