Asda and Just Eat team up on 30 minute grocery deliveries
Asda is partnering with Just Eat to offer customers a 30 minute grocery delivery service.
The move follows the introduction of a trial service by the companies that enables Asda shoppers to orderĀ freshly cooked pizzas from Asda stores.
The companies are now expanding the service to include around 100 essential grocery lines. It will be available from two stores in Leicester and Sutton.
Asda chief executive Roger Burnley said: “Our partnership with Just Eat that launched last year to deliver pizza to customers was a huge success, so much so that we’re rolling it out to over 50 stores by the end of the year.
“This project demonstrates how partnering with complementary brands can enhance our offer to customers.”
Asda is also pilotingĀ a wholesale retail concept at its store in Bristol’s Patchway.
