Allison Kirkby to step down as non-exec director of Greggs

Greggs has announced that Allison Kirkby will be stepping down as a non-executive director of the business at the end of its annual general meeting on 21 May.
The news follows Kirkby’s appointment as chief executive of TDC in Denmark and as a non-executive director of BT Group.
Ian Durant, Greggs’ chairman, said: “In her six-year tenure, Allison has made a superb, independent and objective contribution to the business changes that have taken place. We will all miss her, but wish her every continued success in her new roles.”
The company said it has now begun a search for Kirkby’s replacement.
