Aldi to serve up first ever Swing Ball Championships during Wimbledon

Aldi will be bringing some good value fun to SW19 by hosting the first ever Aldi Swing Ball Championships during the first week of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

Situated in Cannizaro Park, just next to Wimbledon Common, nine swing ball courts will be available to book online between 3 and 7 July.

Court bookings will be free and slots will start at 1pm each day and run until 6.15pm. Each session will last 30 minutes. Players can then take a rest at the Austin’s Bar, where Aldi’s Austin’s Classic Summer Punch and portions of strawberries and cream will be on sale.

Julie Ashfield, managing director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: “With the rising cost of living, not everyone can afford to attend the tennis, but we didn’t want anyone to miss out on the fun this year. By bringing The Aldi Swing Ball Championships to Cannizaro Park in Wimbledon, we hope that no matter what your budget, you can enjoy some of that special Wimbledon magic with a good value Aldi twist.”
