Aldi to create 1,000 new store jobs by 2025

Aldi has announced that it is to create 1,000 jobs in new UK stores between now and the end of the year.

The supermarket currently employs over 45,000 people at more than 1,020 stores across the UK.

Roles available will include those for managers, caretakers, cleaners, and store apprentices.

Aldi is opening an average of one new store a week between now and Christmas as it looks to reach more customers across the UK.

Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi UK, said: “As we continue to open in new areas, we’re looking to welcome hundreds more colleagues to our amazing teams across the country.

“We want even more people to be a part of our success in the future, which is why we offer a great working environment and opportunities to progress within the business.”

Earlier this month, Aldi announced the locations of its next 11 new stores. These include places like Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire, Olney Park in Milton Keynes, Aberdare in Wales, Broughty Ferry in Dundee and Leytonstone in London.
