Aldi lowers prices on over 40 popular products

Aldi is cutting the price of more than 40 popular products from today.

These will include some of its most commonly bought weekly shop items such as coffee, tinned soup, and pet food with prices reduced by up to 17%.

Examples of price cuts include Bramwells Premium Baked Beans priced at 42p and Cucina Pasta Sauce priced at 75p.

The move comes just days after consumer group Which? named Aldi the Cheapest Supermarket of the Year for 2023.

Julie Ashfield, managing director of buying at Aldi, said: “We’re starting 2024 as we ended 2023 – by being the UK’s lowest-priced supermarket, ensuring our customers can enjoy our great-quality products at the lowest-possible prices.

“At a time when budgets are squeezed post-Christmas, this latest round of price cuts will help our shoppers make significant savings on their weekly food shop, with amazing prices to be had on a wide range of items.”
