Aldi extends Christmas opening hours
Aldi is extending its opening hours in the run-up to Christmas to give people more time to pick up food and last minute presents.
Stores will also be opening until 6pm on Christmas Eve, although customers are being advised to check local store details online to avoid disappointment.
While shops will be closed on Christmas Day, they will also be shuttered on Boxing Day in line with Aldi’s policy since entering the UK over 30 years ago.
Between Christmas and New Year, stores will remain open from 8am until 8pm, and until 6pm on New Year’s Eve.
The supermarket also offers a click and collect service in over 200 stores where shoppers can choose from a range of grocery items online then drive to their local store where their shopping is brought to their car by Aldi team members. The retailer will be announcing a range of Christmas pre-order slots soon.
