Aldi cuts prices on 45 fruit and veg products

Aldi has lowered prices on a selection of over 45 fruit and vegetable products.

The move represents a further £34 million investment by the supermarket as it looks to cut more prices than ever before in 2024.

Shoppers are now being offered reduced prices on products such as berries, oranges, tomatoes and fresh salad.  Avocados and peppers are also included in the cuts, with prices dropping by an average of around 11%.

Julie Ashfield, managing director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: “We are committed to remaining the UK’s cheapest supermarket while still offering outstanding quality to shoppers.

“This latest round of price cuts will see us hammer down prices even further, to help ensure we always offer our customers a wide range of fresh and healthy products at the lowest prices.”
