Zara launches new store in London’s financial district
High street fashion retailer Zara has opened a new store at One New Change in the City of London.
Situated on Cheapside, the 23,000 square foot shop sells the retailer’s latest collections for women and men.
Customers can take advantage of Zara’s ‘Store Mode’ function, which is enabled through the Zara app and allows shoppers to purchase items displayed at One New Change digitally and collect them in-store within 30 minutes. They can also use the function to book fitting rooms and locate items easily in-store.
In addition, the shop includes an automated pick-up point where customers can collect online orders and self-checkout.
Russell Loveland, senior portfolio director for Landsec, said: “We are pleased to see Zara now open at One New Change, adding to their presence across several other destinations within the Landsec portfolio and helping to shape our ‘best in retail’ offer.
“Working collaboratively with Zara is what makes deals like this possible, and is why we have been able to secure flagships with them at Bluewater and St David’s, Cardiff. This opening comes at a great time for the increasing number of people who live, work, shop, and socialise at One New Change, and in the City of London more widely.”
Featuring over 50 operators, One New Change’s 203,000 square foot retail footprint is integrated with over 348,000 square feet of offices in the heart of London’s financial district. Other retailers with a presence at the scheme include the likes of H&M, Hugo Boss, M&S Food, Boots, Swarovski and Oliver Bonas.
