Zalando Plus members to get early access to ‘hot’ collections

Online fashion retailer Zalando has expanded the range of benefits it offers to members of its Zalando Plus programme by offering those in Germany the chance to shop for limited edition “hot” collections before everyone else.

The retailer said the addition of Plus Early Access is the first in a series of  assortment related benefits that will be added to the programme in the future.

Lisa Schöner, director of Zalando Plus, explained: “We started by offering elevated convenience benefits such as same or next-day evening delivery to Plus members in 60 German cities. Now, we are taking the programme to the next level by adding assortment-related benefits. We are rolling out the red carpet and opening the store just for them.”

With an annual fee of €15, the membership programme also includes free advice from Zalando’s personal stylists and priority treatment for customer care.

The first launch will be a training collection for women by Puma and the German fitness influencer Pamela Reif in May.

Andreas Roedl, VP category men at Zalando, said: “Plus Early Access will create more opportunities for Zalando’s brand partners to engage with our most involved customers and target them with their most exciting product offers. These deepened relationships between customers and brands will further accelerate Zalando’s journey to being the platform of choice for our partners.”
