Zalando introduces new “Stories” fashion experience
Zalando has launched a new immersive visual-first fashion experience in collaboration with Highsnobiety.
The online fashion retailer said Stories on Zalando will offer customers information on style, new trends, personalities, and exclusive brand collaborations, while seamlessly integrating shopping journeys.
Anne Pascual, senior vice president of product design at Zalando, explained: “We know that customers are looking for inspiration, and with Stories on Zalando, we are doing exactly that: crafting highly engaging formats to show what’s new and what’s next in fashion.
“Working with incredible partners – from cultural trendsetters to style experts and top brands – we invite our customers to a radically new fashion journey. We’re going above and beyond the traditional shopping experience, putting inspiration front and centre, expressing a strong point of view and starting conversations on what matters.”
In a move to tap into expertise in creating fashion content, Zalando acquired a majority stake in Highsnobiety last year as part of plans to cater to a new generation of customers who are seeking more engaging and immersive shopping experiences.
Stories on Zalando will feature weekly content updates, including the five leading series: Cover Story, Style Bible, Guest Edit, The Perfect X, and Unpacked. The content is currently available for customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
