Weird Fish showcases new format at Newquay store

Lifestyle clothing brand Weird Fish has unveiled a new store concept in Newquay.

The shop in Fore Street has been refitted with a bright and contemporary look and follows the launch of the Scarborough store in the format earlier this year. The re-fits are the beginning of a planned series of store re-designs for Weird Fish.

Designed by Whiteroom, the new format aims to bring Weird Fish’s physical presence up to the same level as its online operation.

Data from online buying behaviour was used when positioning ‘buy the look’ displays in store, which use the current top-rated items from the online shop. These will be updated on a monthly rolling basis.

John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “We worked hard to bring our new store vision to life, it is a real move on for us and we are delighted to have refreshed our fantastic Newquay store. Like the Cornish, we love being out and about – our clothing reflects our love of the great outdoors.”

The next store re-fit is planned for Dartmouth in 2018.

Weird Fish has 13 branded stores and stockists include Debenhams, Cotswold Outdoor and Blacks Leisure.
